Do we offer travel insurance?
Yes we do! Upon booking you will be sent an email with the option to add travel insurance. Completely optional but adds security to your booking
Do you allow pets?
Unfortunately, no pets of any kind are allowed. Due to our family’s severe allergies and asthma, we cannot allow pets. Sorry for the inconvenience!

We really enjoyed our stay. The lake view is absolutely beautiful and was the highlight of the property. The house was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The interior is set up to be very practical for hosting groups, with plenty of beds and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

We had a family reunion at this home. Everyone had a great time. There were many options to keep us busy and active. The visiting spaces were large enough to play games and all enjoy the conversation. The kitchen was so nice and spacious with nice countertop space and 2 fridges plus a fridge and little kitchen in the basement, which was so great. The outdoor areas were beautiful and supplied with plenty of chairs and tables for people to sit and visit. There were 6 nice bedrooms upstairs w/3 bathrooms, 1 large master bedroom on the main level, and 1 bedroom plus a nice bunk room in the basement with 3 bathrooms, which were all great. I appreciated Meg’s instructions. They were simple and to the point. I knew if I needed anything, she would be quick to response. But, this hole was so awesome and we had no issues that arose. The hobbits were still under construction but we took a look inside and they will be so nice and so fun to stay in when they’re ready to be occupied.

The hosts were great to respond. They were only a text away if needed. Their home is beautiful and open. Not as big as I thought it would be but big enough. They provided cleaning supplies, shampoo and conditioner, just everything that we needed. We are so grateful and we hope we kept it as clean as they would expect. The cleaning list was pretty simple.

Mae and Meg’s home was amazing!! The location was so perfect and it was so convenient to be able to walk to your own beach and lake! The house had so much room for everyone to spread out, had very comfy beds, was so clean, and the kitchen was so well-equipped for all kinds of cooking. Communication with the host was so easy and quick too. We will definitely be coming back! It was so great to not have crowds around us at the lake.

Beautiful home with amazing views of the lake! The quality of the home itself felt luxurious and the hosts were so thoughtful, with attention to detail and quick to answer any questions. Beautiful home with a breathtaking view of Bear Lake! I will not be able to say more positive things about the host though. We had an unfortunate situation that required another host that we were originally booked with to have to cancel on us. This has happened to us in the past and we were basically told by all parties involved to just deal with it. However, Mae & Meg came to our rescue! They offered this gorgeous house for the same price as the other booking and even allowed our pups which we had a prior agreement with the other booking to have. We are eternally grateful as the cancellation happened only 2 months before our trip. The home itself had all the listed amenities and it was super fun to stay at. Some things are still under construction like the hobbit holes and we had some internet problems, but it was overall an incredible stay. Thank you!

This was hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! We brought a group of individuals with special needs for our end-of-summer trip, and the home was absolutely perfect. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The kids had an amazing time and genuinely didn’t want to leave—that says everything. They created memories they’ll be talking about for a long time. The host was wonderful, and everything was exactly as described. Thank you for having us at your bear lake home. This was our first time visiting Bear lake. There was ample space, adequate supplies for cooking and it was left very clean. The hot tub water was overdue to be changed by several days as indicated on the screen. We did have some maintenance issues while we were there, but they were addressed promptly. It’s a short walk (3-5 minutes) from the home down to the lake. Note that the home is located on a fairly busy road. The kids loved the pool table and hot tub!

Beautiful home with lots of room for the family to spread out, great seating choices for meals (formal dining table, kitchen island, AND patio), an extremely well outfitted kitchen, and the indoor pool and jacuzzi was a fantastic bonus. Mae and Meg were quick to respond to questions and gave much appreciated suggestions for local beach choices and more. We especially loved the privacy of this home and the million-dollar view of the lake when having morning coffee on the patio.

From the start, this was awesome. Mae & Meg are fantastic hosts and helped with everything. The home is in a beautiful area in Fish Haven filled with new homes. I was a little worried about being farther away from where we had our boat docked (south of Ideal Beach) but the location turned out to be great. The home itself is really nice and very well taken care of. And most importantly, it was VERY clean. We have rented a number of AirBNB's that were not always clean, but this home was amazing. Honestly, it was even bigger than the pic's showed. Tons of space...and one basement area was kind of in its own section which worked out great for one of our kids who have three young children. So many beds! Several bunk beds, and the master bedroom is really nice! Overall this was a great experience, a wonderful home, and we will definitely look at staying here again in the future.

Very spacious and well laid out. We needed the large driveway and garage which was a nice feature for multiple vehicles, boat, and the toys. Bed's were comfy. Big screen theatre room needs additional seating or bean bags, not room for everyone. Nice to have 2 fridges, we use them, and 2 sets of washers & dryers, that's a bonus. Beautiful views of the lake, and the patio over looking the lake is spacious. There are some minor repairs that need rendered, but I can imagine that with back to back people coming and going, that is a hard act to keep up on. The beach access just down the road got used almost daily. Water is way down on the lake this year. If your bringing a boat, they may close the North Shore Ramp if it drops any more. If you are planning on using the Utah Marina, it's always a jacked up mess, and still under construction. I think it will be nice when they finish, but long over due. ~Safe Journey!

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely give this property 5 stars! The owners were incredibly accommodating after the original property we booked was sold, upgrading us to an even more beautiful home. While this property didn't have the private beach access of the original listing, the incredible amenities more than made up for it. The house was spotless, very well organized, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with, although we honestly didn't have any issues during our visit. The owners are still finishing construction on the hobbit homes. Two were completed and looked clean and well done, but since they didn't yet have bathrooms, we didn't end up using them. Once they're finished, they'll be a fun addition to an already fantastic property. There was never a dull moment with all the amenities available, and our family made so many wonderful memories here. We can't say enough good things about this place

We had a wonderful stay at Meg’s and Mae’s place in the Fish Haven area of Bear Lake. We have stayed on the Utah side of Bear Lake previously, but this was our first time on the Idaho side, and this home did not disappoint. It was spotless, and everything was as promised. The check-in and checkout procedures were a breeze. The house had everything we needed to provide for our gathering of 25 people. The kitchen, in particular, had everything we needed to prepare meals efficiently, including a double oven on the main floor. The community swimming pools were the perfect way for our group, including many young children, to spend the hot part of the afternoon. Meg and Mae were very attentive hosts from the moment we booked the house all the way until the day of checkout. I would not hesitate to stay at a property hosted by them in the future.

Mae & Meg’s place was absolutely wonderful! We really loved how high it was on the hill, offering stunning views over the lake—especially at sunset, which was simply picture-perfect. The kitchens were fantastic, with not just one but three of them! We could easily prepare a big family meal without the hassle of rearranging everything, thanks to the extra space. As a family who loves to cook, this was definitely one of the main reasons I chose this spot. Located in a gated community, it provided great amenities like access to the clubhouse, two pools, and a hot tub. Watching the sunset over the lake made everything even more special. It’s just 14 minutes from North Beach and close to the main strip, making it such a convenient location. The adults enjoyed relaxing here, but the kids had a blast! Meg & Mae, we are already looking forward to booking this amazing place again for our next family trip to Bear Lake. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful place.

We loved our stay at Mae and Meg’s with our youth group. They were very accommodating, the house had private beach access which was amazing! The pool and hot tub were fantastic and the games at the house were great. Our group asked if we could return every year for our annual youth trip!

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous home. The house is spacious and accommodating, the views are amazing, the kitchen was well setup. We loved the well-equipped gaming area and the private beach that came with the house. Kids couldn’t get enough of the slide and the playhouse. The hosts were responsive and very helpful - overall our stay was an 11/10 experience.
